Authentic Italian Tiramisu

Handcrafted daily in Glasgow’s West End.

About Us

Tiramisù is Glasgow’s first café entirely dedicated to the world’s most loved dessert. Located in the heart of the West End, we specialise in authentic Italian tiramisu made the traditional way, using carefully selected ingredients, time-honoured techniques, and a recipe passed down through generations. Our menu celebrates both tradition and creativity.

Alongside the classic tiramisu, you’ll find seasonal flavours such as strawberry or pistachio, as well as monthly specials inspired by Italian flavours and customer favourites. Everything is made fresh, in small batches, with quality always coming first. Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee, grabbing a takeaway, or enjoying a quiet moment at one of our tables, Tiramisù is a place where Italian craftsmanship meets Glasgow’s vibrant café culture.

Made the Way Nonna Intended

A simple recipe, perfected over generations.

Step 1 - The Coffee

It all starts with coffee.

We use real Italian coffee, brewed fresh every day using a traditional Bialetti moka pot. Once brewed, the coffee is left to cool completely, never used hot, to preserve its flavour and balance. This step is essential for achieving the perfect soak without bitterness.

Step 2 - The Cream

The heart of our Tiramisu.

At the same time, we prepare our mascarpone cream. We use professional-grade Italian mascarpone, produced in Northern Italy, combined with eggs and sugar using our family recipe (which, of course, remains a secret). We choose a high-quality sugar with a different sweetening profile than standard caster sugar. Easier to digest, lighter, and more balanced.

The cream is then rested in the fridge, allowing texture and flavour to fully develop.

Step 3 - Assembly

Where everything comes together.

Once every element is ready, we assemble our tiramisu by hand:
layers of cream, layers of savoiardi, finished with a dusting of extra-brut cocoa powder. But it’s not ready yet.

The tiramisu must rest again, so all ingredients can come together properly. This final resting time is what gives tiramisu its signature texture: smooth, balanced, and impossible to stop eating.

The Result

Simple. Balanced. Unforgettable.

This is why tiramisu is loved all over the world. Because the best things are simple, and quality makes the difference.

our story

A story of family, passion, and a dessert made with love.

From Naples, with love

Our story begins in Naples, where our family has been making pastries for five generations. What started in a home kitchen became a lifelong craft, passed down through time with patience, discipline, and pride.

A chef’s obsession with quality

Every recipe, technique, and ingredient choice comes from a chef’s perspective, where details or rest times matter, and shortcuts are never an option.

This isn’t nostalgia; it’s respect for the craft.

our mission

tiramisu-mission

Our mission is to bring something new and genuine to Glasgow.

We focus on the best ingredients available, recipes that respect tradition, and products designed to be enjoyable, digestible, and made with care. Over the years, tiramisu has been rediscovered and reimagined, and we’re here to show Glasgow how it’s truly meant to be made.

Alongside our classics, we introduce a new flavour every month, adding a touch of creativity without losing the soul of the dessert.

Our mission is simple:
